Work We’ve Done in Petaluma
The Petaluma Pollinator Hideaway is one of our most-loved local projects, a complete backyard redesign just blocks from downtown Petaluma. We started nearly from scratch: removing old concrete, regrading, rebuilding depleted soil with a custom amendment program, and designing a sweeping native and climate-adapted planting palette that now attracts butterflies, hummingbirds, and pollinators throughout the growing season.
We also completed the Petaluma Cottage Garden, a smaller residential project that demonstrates our ability to bring the same care and creativity to more modest-sized spaces.
These projects reflect what we try to do on every Petaluma property, create landscapes that are beautiful for the people who live in them and genuinely beneficial to the local ecosystem around them.

Frequently Asked Questions
What kinds of properties do you work on in Petaluma?
We work on residential properties of all sizes, from small cottage gardens to larger yard renovations. If you have a project in mind, reach out and we'll let you know how we can help.
Can you help me create a garden that attracts pollinators and native wildlife?
Yes, and it's one of our specialties. Our Petaluma Pollinator Hideaway project is a great example of how we approach habitat-focused landscape design, selecting native and climate-adapted plants that bring butterflies, hummingbirds, and beneficial insects to your property while reducing your water use.
Do you offer one-time services, or is maintenance only available on an ongoing basis?
We offer both. Our maintenance team handles regular weekly or bi-weekly visits as well as one-time seasonal cleanups, specialty pruning projects, and irrigation repairs. We'll build a program that fits what your property actually needs.
